The lighting is also see able which only focused on her face as that is all we can see, it gives a soft feel to the image.
The image has been framed as big close up, this image was probably taken as a bigger shot but has been cropped to focus on her face as she is older and been through a lot since her earlier time, we have also been drawn to her face because of her facial expression which suggests to use that she is desperate and wants sympathy from the audience. The image is also not a pretty one or a Posey one and she isn’t smiling either, this links to the word ‘tragedy’ as she looks like she has loads of problems on her mind.
The relationship that she wants with the audience is that she wants everyone to know what she has been through and how she has been betrayed and how she is still living and carrying on with life. By looking at the image she also wants the audience to feel sorry for her.
